Transforming Lives Through Collective Compassion
Hope knows no boundaries. In the heart of Congo, where conflict divides, we create and foster communities that heal together. Your donation provides immediate relief and lasting hope for victims of war and genocide.
Our Mission
We’ve worked on improving the lives of over 25,000 young people through direct care.
The Rose Mapendo Foundation endeavors to help orphans and widows in the DR Congo, Rwanda, and Burundi to work together regardless of religious, tribal, or political differences to achieve peace and reconciliation in the region, and also to cultivate the potential of disadvantaged working women and orphans through education, healthcare, vocational training and community development so that they can succeed in life.

In South Kivu, DRC, the aftermath of war leaves behind invisible wounds. Widows and orphans face a daily battle for survival without access to even the most basic healthcare. A simple infection can become a crisis, and childbirth becomes a life-or-death ordeal. Your donation is more than a gift; it is a lifeline, directly providing emergency medical care, essential supplies, and the critical support that can mean the difference between despair and hope for a family who had lost everything. Please, help us bring healing where it is needed most.
