WHAT'S HAPPENNING IN CONGO?
Today, the slaughter of over 6.9 Million people continues in the Eastern African Region. The DRC remains trapped in a cycle of ethnic violence that result in the kidnapping of children and the use of rape and sexual violence as weapons of control and intimidation. Every Day, over 45,000 people are affected by this tribal warfare, leaving thousands of women and children, and families abandoned, broken, and in total despair.
As one of the victims of unimaginable violence, Rose understand the outcome of remaining hopeful in unprcedented times.
Through years of Rose and her family’s torture, Rose developed the courage to help women and children who are suffering and to instill the same hope that saw her throught the struggle in the suffering.
